RECENT COMMUNITY CONCERNS - MELODY ROAD, BIGGIN HIL

Dear Community of Biggin Hill,

Recently, members of the Biggin Hill community expressed concerns regarding an individual who had been accommodated within the area and who was perceived as posing a potential risk to the community.

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team, working closely with colleagues from specialist Metropolitan Police units and a number of partner agencies, listened carefully to those concerns. Together, we have proactively managed the situation and worked to address the issues raised, while meeting the expectations of the community.

We would like to inform you that, this week, the individual at the centre of these concerns has been relocated by our partner agencies to an alternative location outside of the Biggin Hill area.

We wanted to share this update with you at the earliest opportunity to demonstrate that we do listen, we do care, and we remain committed to keeping our communities safe. The concerns raised by residents were taken seriously, and we appreciate the patience and support shown throughout this process.
